Today was fun. After we dropped of our respective charges, Mariene and I went into the city and walked from Montparnasse to the St. Francois Xavier metro stop in St. Germain so that we could meet Rachael and Sarah for breakfast at our favorite bakery (1 euro cafe allongees sur place!). Then I met up with my friend Kristina and her mom, who are from Burbank and who are in town for a week. We wandered around the Marais and ate galettes (OMG. Mine had cheese, ham, mushrooms and olives, and was on a different kind of crepe specifically for non-surgary creations. WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN ALL MY LIFE). Then I met up with Rachael and Mariene again. YAY for Tuesdays when I don't need to be home so early!
