Breakfast on the Canal St. Martin

Yesterday, I met up with Rachael and my new friend Erica and we had breakfast at a realllly cute place called Sesame on the Canal St. Martin, which was fun because I don't usually spend much time in that area.

It was so cute! One of the walls was decorated with hankerchiefs.

Perfect French breafkast (you dip the bread in the egg).

Us on the Canal.

We even got to see the complicated procedure by which the bridges move over to let the tour boats through. It took about 15 minutes just to clear the traffic from one little bridge and to wait for all of the ducklings to swim out of the way. I honestly can't see why anyone would take a tour cruise of the Canal St. Martin rather than the Seine, where there's nothing to look like and you have to completely stop for 15 minutes at a time. Anyway, it was interesting.
